unhinged

The other day I was over at my brothers fixing a few more things at the house. There were three doors that needed a little little cut off the bottom with the new carpet and all, the doors were dragging a little so to get that done i needed to pop the pins on the hinges and pull the doors off and it got me thinking about the verse in the Bible were Jesus is talking about knocking on the door. Revelation 3:20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. This verse got me thinking about all the times he was knocking and wanted to come in and i would open it let Him in and not long after would just shove Him back out and shut the door. My relationship was just on my terms only and I started thinking about how He has become so much more in my life recently and how I have fallen so much more in love with Him that when i Unhinged those doors it was symbolic of how I dont want Him to have to knock I just want the open door policy with Him. Where I am in constant communication and relation with Him. The door is off unhinged i cant slam it in His face or keep Him out. In this community with Him I am safe and dont need a door He is all I need for my security and all I want. Thank you Jesus for unhinging the doors of my heart it is truely great to have you inside!
