Holy Anger

Holy Anger!

Latey i have been having alot of Questions on the things that really matter in life and have been following Gods lead on what he says in His word. and going to Him first for His opinion on how this body of believers is supose to function . When I read how the early church gave till it hurt or how they uplifted eachother and depended on oneanother to get through hard times . Even a step further to reach out to a community they didnt even know to show Gods love , it breaks my heart to see discord among fellow Christians we are the branches of this lovely community and we need to get back to working together and depending on each other through Christ amazing love!!! We serve an awesome God ,Let Him move you to not settle for a mediocre halfhearted Christian life . Read the Book of Acts and see how these men and women put it all on the line for Jesus they got it .

What is, therefore, our task today? Shall I answer: “Faith, hope and love”? That sounds beautiful. But I would say – courage. No, even that is not challenging enough to be the whole truth.

Our task today is recklessness.

For what we Christians lack is not psychology or literature…we lack a holy rage – the recklessness which comes from the knowledge of God and humanity.

The ability to rage when justice lies prostrate on the streets, and when the lie rages across the face of the earth…a holy anger about the things that are wrong in the world.

To rage against the ravaging of God’s earth, and the destruction of God’s world.

To rage when little children must die of hunger when the tables of the rich are sagging with food.

To rage at the senseless killing of so many,.

To rage at the lie that calls the threat of death and the strategy of destruction peace.

To rage against complacency. To restlessly seek that recklessness that will challenge and seek to change human history until it conforms to the norms of the Kingdom of God.

being true

So many times Ive seen people try to get ahead or elevate there standard of living or status and it just breaks my heart . I have been there done that and the feeling is that of emptieness and it totally gos against what His words say, our only standard that should be changing is the one with our savior as we fall more in love with Him and depend on Him more and more in our faith. Our relationship with Him is an invitation to what He has instore for our lives the more we fight the more time we waste. example Ive always valued my parents opinions on life and how to take care of and do certain things . they have showed me how to be a hard worker and to have a certain drive and ambition, and i am so gratefull for that .It is when God is speaking to me and i know what i should do and i think what would my parents think if i listened to what hes telling me or a certain friend or even me talking myself out of listening so that i am not inconvienenced . So being real what is it? to me it is following Jesus no matter the circumstance not faltering or giving into the temptation of friends or family and putting Him on the backburner ,Being real is truely loving this Awesome God over everything else and listening to Him so our relationship continues to grow. I would never want my children to feel that my opinion should ever outweigh that of Gods even if i dont see the whole picture if theyre following Him i just want to be a part of what He is doing thru them as I know my parents feel the same way. So with that said lets get out there and serve this Mighty Powerful God who is in control of everything we are invited to the party Hes always been there its up to us to show up and see what great things he has for us. Read Daniel chapter 4: 28-37 and see how this powerful man came to realize just how much he needed God to prosper not monetarlly but spiritualy and that is where we become rich when we realize it is all about our relationship with Christ and how it prospers and grows even through our trials.also Matthew 28:18-20 He has all authority
