God is good

God is good it is just so amazing when you put your trust in Him to see all the amazing thing He dose. Lately i have been blown away at all the things He has gotten me and my family involved in .first i want thank him Him everyday for such a wonderful family and an a great church family . For being the youth director for the senior high it is so great i learn so much and i see so much growth, our youth group will be going on a mission trip to appalacia ky. in aug the place we will be going has only had electricty for 5 years its hard to believe that this kind of poverty is right in our backyard it will be an awesome time of growth for everyone.
I will be going on my first out of the country mission trip to Peru to Hannahs Hope orphanage to help build and to put on a summer bible school for the kids of that community i cant wait that will be in june. then Rachel will be gioing to Ecudor in Oct. to meet one of the kids that we sponsor Angels Cocha Paca.
Alot of this has to do with a great ministry that has been involved in this area for awhile Child Reach Ministries . They start and help out orphanages in different places Peru, Ecudor ,Tanzania,Hatti,Appalacia and many more.if you or a groupwould like to go on one of there trips or help in any way check out there web site www.childreachministries.org
Well like i said God has truely blessed and He wants to show Himself especially when things look impossible keep the faith.

Scraps

Today i was reading in the book of Malachi and it was taliking about Esau and Jacob and how God loved Jacob and hated Esau then it went on to talk about the preist bringing there sacrafice's to the altar all blemished,blind ,lame, sick bringing there scraps that they really didnt need or want and giving it to the Lord . I started thinking about when i go to church or even when i am at home what kinda offering or sacrafice am i giving to God? Am i giving Him the scraps whatever is left over from my busy day of running around watchn TV , emails, facebook, goingout to eat,playn,working out and then relaxn till bed time and then giving him the little time i have left to pray and read till i fall asleep more or less the scraps. Then at Church when its time to worship and lift up His name am i giving it all i have to sing to Him and worship the one who decides to give me my next breath the One who saved me who died for me the one who said I will be praised . He dont need our scraps hes want nothing to do with them so think about this when the offering comes around and you throw a couple bucks in there the scraps after you made sure you got everything you needed,or when your singing if your not gonna give Him your praise dont even give Him your half hearted attempt He wants all of us.
In India when someone decides to follow Christ they pretty much give up there whole way of life and become outcast by giving all of themselves to this awsome Creator to them they dont have much but they give it all. In America its just the opposite we have it all even the poor have it made compared to those in India we accept Christ so we can go to Heaven give a little here and there enough to make ourselves feel good like were doing God a favor he dont want those scraps until your ready to give it all He wont be able to show you how truely amazing He really is or we'll just be to blind to seecheck out Malachi chapters 1-3 very good insight to what the Lord wants for us if we'll just give Him our heart and life!

quiet time shh

Wow 4 day off of work just dosnt seem long enough, I have been so busy lately with work, running the kids around, working on the old house to get it ready for my brother thanks to the last renter wow i didnt know someone could destroy so much in 3month oh well live and learn,also trying to stay up on school work , I know God just wants me to take a deep breath and get alone with Him for awhile I truely need it , Psalms 107:30, 1Peter 3:4. I just love spending time with Jesus ,it is just so amazing that we get to talk to Him anytime, the Creator it blows my mind that He wants to here from me, Colossians 1:16,Revelation 4:11.God has always chosen to allow men and women to be involved in His buisness we need to be focused on Him and his will I love this verse Romans 12:4-8 talks about the members of the body how we all are different yet we all pull together for His purpose its just amazing i find myself in awe everytime i open this amazing Book. Well time to put the kids to bed and go get some quiet time see ya

This has been a great week God is good. first off i got to go to church last sun and i get to go again yay. wed youth group was awesome i love hanging out with these people they are so much fun had a good lesson on how satan is very sly and is always looking to take us down and how we need to be careful of his devices. Then thurs i finally went with Ted to the prison ministry at the Oriana House and it was awesome first i went out with Harry to do some recruiting around the jail we ended up getting like 50 or 60 guys , we had a worship time of singing and let me tell you these boys sang loud hands raised worhiping like free men i was kinda embarrased I definatly got a lesson from them. 7 guys accepted the Lord Jesus as there Savior. One guy came up to us and asked for special prayer for his wife to get saved and away from a life of drugs, alcohol,and prostitution we prayed with him and i felt the Holy Spirit like never before right in the midst of us. Then this guy went to the Bible and shared his heart with us it was great seeing how God can use whoever He wants if we just make ourselves available.
Last nite we went to the spring celebration for Child Reach Ministries and had a great time of fellowship and saw how the Lord was working on peoples heart to give and to remind us how fortuate we are. there is so much more we could be doing God is really working on my heart just gonna keep following His lead and see where this journey ends up Heb 12:1-3 stay in the race
